Today, while eating a masala roti, I noticed that the paper used for wrapping it contained the blessed name of Prophet Muhammad ď·ş and Islamic content. What saddened me even more was that I was about to throw it on the roadside without realizing what was written on it.
This was a reminder for me and for all of us to be more careful. Many times, old notebooks, religious texts, or pages containing sacred names are unknowingly used for wrapping food and other items. Such papers can end up in dustbins or on roads, which hurts the feelings of believers.
I am not sharing this to blame anyone, but only to create awareness. Please take a moment to check papers before using or throwing them away. Respect for what is sacred begins with small acts of care.
May Allah guide us to show proper respect to His religion and to the blessed name of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. 🤲
