Directorate of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Kashmir has issued an important public advisory assuring that there is no shortage of petrol, diesel, or LPG across the Kashmir region.
The department clarified that sufficient stock is available at fuel stations, depots, and LPG distribution centers, and regular supply is being maintained without any disruption.
Citizens have been urged not to panic or engage in unnecessary stockpiling of fuel or gas. Authorities emphasized that panic buying may create inconvenience for others.
The advisory further warned that strict legal action will be taken against individuals spreading rumors or misinformation to create artificial panic among the public.
To address public concerns and complaints, helpline numbers have also been issued for assistance.
Residents are advised to rely only on official updates and avoid believing unverified information circulating on social media.
