Kulgam, May 5: A youth was found unconscious under mysterious circumstances at his residence in the Malwan area of Kulgam and was later declared dead at the hospital, officials said on Tuesday.
An official stated that a 23-year-old youth, identified as Abrar Yaseen, son of Mohd Yaseen Malik and a resident of Malwan Bunpora, was found unconscious at his home. He was immediately rushed to District Hospital Kulgam for treatment.
However, doctors at the hospital declared him brought dead on arrival.
This is the second such incident reported within the past 12 hours in the district. Earlier, a youth was found dead under mysterious conditions at his residence in the Laroo area of Kulgam.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further investigation to ascertain the cause of death.
