Kulgam, May 12: A delegation from Italy-based Gruber Genetti Nursery visited Azan Agrizen in the Tarigam area of Kulgam district, where they were received by the company’s CEO, Dr. Ajaz Ahmad Malla.
During their visit, the international horticulture experts toured local orchards and held interactive sessions with farmers and orchard growers from the region. The discussions focused on modern orchard management, scientific plant care, disease prevention, and advanced horticulture techniques aimed at enhancing fruit quality and improving overall productivity.
The visiting specialists highlighted the growing importance of adopting scientific farming methods to strengthen the horticulture sector and support the local economy. They encouraged farmers to make use of modern technologies and better crop management practices to achieve sustainable growth in apple cultivation.
