An awareness program focusing on the harmful effects of drug abuse was Organised on April 27, 2026, at the premises of the Public Islamic Institute. The event was conducted under the supervision of SHO Behibagh, Mr. Mohsin Ahmad Dar, and organized under the banner of the “Nasha Mukt Abhiyan” (Drug-Free Campaign).
The program witnessed active participation from a large number of students, who played a key role in highlighting the serious physical, psychological, and social consequences of drug addiction. Through speeches and presentations, participants emphasized the urgent need for collective action to combat the growing menace of substance abuse.
Addressing the gathering, officials stressed the importance of awareness, early intervention, and community involvement in preventing drug use, especially among youth. The initiative aimed not only to educate students but also to spread awareness among the general public.
