Kulgam Police Attaches Property Worth 51 Lakhs in NDPS Case

Kulgam Police, in a major action against drug peddlers and as part of its continued drive against drug trafficking and proceeds of narcotics, has attached/frozen a double-storey residential house belonging to accused Umar Yousuf Rather S/o Mohd Yousuf Rather R/o Chinigam, involved in Case FIR No. 69/2021 U/S 8/15 NDPS Act of Police Station Yaripora.

The property has been attached under the provisions of Section 68-F of the NDPS Act through the competent authority SAFEMA in the presence of Revenue officials. The present market valuation of the attached property is approximately ₹51 lakhs.

Kulgam Police remains committed towards eradicating the menace of drugs from society and taking stringent action against persons involved in narcotics trade and properties acquired through illicit means.

General public is requested to cooperate with Police and share any information related to drug peddling or other criminal activities. The identity of the informer shall be kept strictly confidential.
