The examination took place at six designated centres across the district, with all necessary arrangements made to ensure an organized and fair process. Out of 1,047 registered candidates, 493 students, including both boys and girls, appeared for the test.
According to officials, the examination concluded peacefully without any untoward incidents. The smooth conduct was attributed to the coordinated efforts of the district administration and the education department.
The school administration expressed appreciation to Deputy Commissioner Shazad Alam, SSP Kulgam Anayat Choudhary, Chief Education Officer Ab Gani, and the principals of various institutions who served as Centre Level Observers (CLOs). The contribution of the staff at JNV Kulgam was also acknowledged for their dedication and efficient management.
Officials highlighted that Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is regarded as a leading educational institution in the district, known for offering quality education and nurturing talented students, especially from rural backgrounds.
In-charge Principal of JNV Kulgam, Mrs. Shafak Shamsi, who recently assumed charge, thanked the district administration, observers, police personnel, and staff members for their collective efforts in ensuring the fair and smooth conduct of the examination. She also encouraged parents and students to consider enrolling in upcoming sessions, emphasizing the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and holistic development.
