IGP Kashmir Extends Greetings to People on the Auspicious Occasion of Shab-e-Qadr

Srinagar: Tue,Mar 7 V. K. Birdi, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir, extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Laylat al-Qadr.
In his message, the IGP conveyed heartfelt wishes to the residents of Kashmir and prayed that the blessed night brings peace, prosperity, and harmony to society. He expressed hope that the sacred occasion will strengthen the spirit of brotherhood, unity, and mutual respect among people.
He also urged the public to remember the importance of compassion, patience, and prayers during this holy night, which holds immense significance in the holy month of Ramadan.
“May this blissful occasion herald peace and brotherhood among all,” the IGP said while extending his best wishes to the people.
Shab-e-Qadr, also known as the Night of Power, is considered one of the holiest nights in Islam. Muslims across the valley observe the night with special prayers, recitation of the Holy Quran, and supplications, seeking forgiveness and blessings.
The administration has also urged people to maintain peace and harmony while observing the religious occasion across the region.
